Introduction

This site is intended to pull together various items of genealogical or historical interest that I have gathered over the years. A lot of it is derived from family papers, other sources are acknowledged on the relevant pages. Where appropriate, information has been obtained from the 1851, 1861, 1881, 1871, 1891 and 1901 United Kingdom, 1870, 1880, 1900, 1910 and 1920 US and 1881 Canadian Censuses. Pages are updated as and when I get new information. If you have any further information about any of the families mentioned here, I would be glad to hear from you. Contact details are at the foot of each page.
