Tatton Park is a historic estate in Cheshire, England, to the north of the town of Knutsford. It contains a mansion, Tatton Hall, a manor house dating from medieval times, Tatton Old Hall, gardens, a farm and a deer park of 1000 acres (405 ha). It is a popular visitor attraction and hosts over 100 events annually. The estate is owned by the National Trust and administered in conjunction with Cheshire East Council.

This website celebrates the lives of the people of Tatton, however mighty or lowly:

  • Upstairs - the Egerton Family and their relatives
  • Visitors to Tatton - The Egertons received many illustrious visitors including the Prince and Princess of Wales in 1887, when visiting the Royal Golden Jubilee Exhibition in Manchester
  • Downstairs - the servants at Tatton Hall
  • Estate Residents & Workers - the many people who lived and worked on or for the Tatton Estate
